Women in Product: Call for entries in prestigious list

Adrienne Tan

In 2016, Adrienne Tan was included on a list of 52 Women Making an Impact in Product Management by the lovely folks at the Product Management Festival in Zurich.

It’s  always a nice surprise to be recognised at work. So Adrienne thought she would extend the opportunity to the many talented women in Product in Australia and New Zealand, to be acknowledged for their skill, capability and accomplishments.

A tribute to Women in Product

To celebrate their contributions, Brainmates is asking for nominations of women in Product who have made an impact in Australia and New Zealand.

They may have created a product that exceeded customer and business expectations. They may have shown exemplary leadership skills, leading a team through the design and delivery of a product or, they may have nurtured and promoted thought leadership in Product Management through regular community events or speaking engagements.

Women in Product

To keep the process meaningful yet achievable, once nominated, Brainmates will send a questionnaire consisting of 1 question to each nominee. The responses to the question will be reviewed by a panel to determine those women who will be included on the list. So far, the panel consists of Trent Innes, the MD of xero and Jen Marshall, CEO of Brainmates. Additional members of the panel will soon be announced.

When the review is complete, Brainmates will publish and share the “52 Women in Product Management” list on the 15th of May 2017.

The process

  1. Nominate an awesome female Product Manager (actan@brainmates.com.au)
  2. We’ll send the nominee a questionnaire which contains 1 key question
  3. Responses to the questionnaire must be received by 6 PM AEST 30 April
  4. The panel will review the nominees and their responses
